Hello,
I'm gonna get my O-320 PA-12 weighed. It seems to compute as tail heavy. I've read the various posts. Most of them reference the PA-18. To ensure it is done properly:
Level Aircraft, empty fuel tanks, one scale under each main (obviously), then measure the arm from leading edge of wing to center of tailwheel, place scale under tailwheel, then compute.
Questions:
Should I use the center of the tailwheel or the tailpost and corresponding arm?
Computation. What is the proper formula?
What should I use as a leveling point?
Thanks for the help.
