Mighty nice looking cub! Definitively set up for serious Alaska use. Any bets on what the final weight will be?
Tell me please if they ever sold last years cub, and if so , what was the real final price.

Off the Alaska Airmen site,
Congratulations to Eric Bates, Anchorage, Alaska Ticket #5693 AIRFRAMES ALASKA 180hp SUPERCUB!
I'm curious what the gift tax will be on that bird.....hmmmmm
Its not gift tax. They treat the value of the airplane as ordinary taxable income to the winner. So whatever tax bracket that puts you in (your regular salary is included also) is what you will owe. Highest individual tax bracket is still 35% this year.
Congrats to the winner!!
