Mighty nice looking cub! Definitively set up for serious Alaska use. Any bets on what the final weight will be?

It's almost finished. They're waiting on a couple of items and then it will get a weight and balance. It should be done in about two weeks and they will publish the results.

Its not gift tax. They treat the value of the airplane as ordinary taxable income to the winner. So whatever tax bracket that puts you in (your regular salary is included also) is what you will owe. Highest individual tax bracket is still 35% this year.

    Congrats to the winner!!
