    Cub Crafters Fuel System Kit

Installing the above in my certified 1951 SC. The instructions provide direction to drill a hole in the fuel tanks saying in section 4.3.5 to "Locate a hole for new outlet ports in the front of the left and right fuel tanks. The outlet holes should be positioned..." This kit came with just (1) aluminum TIG weld on fitting. My left tank already has a forward located fuel port, looks factory.

Was I shorted a fitting to TIG weld onto the left fuel tank? Should I remove this factory port and install the new one or, do just the right tank? If CC was open today I would call but its Saturday, so I'm out of luck.

The left tank port that used to be hooked into the front header tank is the one you use.... Change out the fittings for 3/8 fuel lines.... Right tank needs the fitting welded in at the same location....

Here are a couple of pics of the fuel lines on my current customer project.

Only comes with one. My welder threw it away and made a much nicer one out of thick walled tubing to mtch the one one the other side. I'll see if I can post pictures.

Okay, that explains the second thread to slip fitting. Thank you!
