New Free SuperCub.Org Apps for Android and iPhone/iPad Platforms

Currently, you can search for SuperCub.Org in the android store or click the link below.

    https://market.android.com/details?i...tin.build_1538

The Apple process is slower and more cumbersome so it will be a day or two before that one is up.

Basically, this provides a free alternative to Tapatalk for browsing / posting / uploading pictures / etc on the forums.

    Thanks!

Rick, I got an iPhone and there is a learning curve. It does cool stuff but it is aggravating sometimes.

Tapatalk will still work with these forums and also with others. The new app just works with SuperCub.Org. Still waiting on the Apple people to process my developer order... My android marketplace order was instantaneous and 1/4 the price. Now day two waiting on Apple.

Rick, regarding choosing a iPhone over Android, I would go to your carriers store and look at all the phones and see which ones fit your hands, and your typing style the best. With the iPhone you ONLY get a touch screen, some Androids have keyboards that slide out - Laura likes that. Functionally, although one does not have the pretty little apple on it, they do much the same things although there are likely many more apps available for Android, the "important" ones are available on either platform. Well most of the important ones, we are waiting for Mike to get his apps over on the Android too!

I had a similar problem. I installed the ap on my Evo Shift twice and still could not get it to come up.. I then went to the SuperCub.org link
https://market.android.com/details?i...tin.build_1538 and clicked 'Install'. Suddenly, it was working.
I'm sending this from my Android.

Well, finally got the approval from Apple, but can't upload the stuff until I get back to KC where the I have a Mac, so probably Monday, then another 24 hours for Apple to think about it. Funny, I could upload Android apps all day from a Mac, but I can't upload iPhone apps from a PC. Who's technologically advanced here?

Again, try before you buy. Some people really like a flip phone, you can get android flip phones, many screen sizes, keyboards, etc. It's what fits your style.

Works far better than the browser. Now how about wingx or foreflight for android.

IPhone or android is all about the apps. If its only available on iphone go with one of those. I had one for three years n now I have an atrix.

pretty much zero chance of me bothering to do android stuff..... 100's of screen sizes to bother testing with vs 2 sizes..... and different language to mess with.... remember this is my nighttime gig.... not full time....

Actually, Boz has a very good point. I suspect in less than ten years - maybe way less - 90% of the access of SuperCub.Org will be on mobile devices of some kind. I am working already to make sure we are ready when you are!

    he worded that poor....

he submitted it for approval, which can take anywhere from a couple days to months... THEN IF he followed the rules, doesn't crash, and it doesn't get rejected for some other reason, then it shows up in app store.....

pretty simple but can be frustrating.... Only had one rejected that I couldn't fix/make them happy... but I knew it when I submitted it, just hoped they didn't notice.....

    Freedom has its risks!

I just don't like somebody telling me what I can and can't consume / use / download... seems kinda like censorship to me that they make the decisions, I guess they are looking out for our best interest just like the government....
