Billy asked me this morning if they even had snow plows in Texas. I told him that Gary Drean and I were riding/sliding together before the seminar last year after the snow and we saw a plow truck. I told Gary at the time "That is likely the world's worst snowplow driver." since he only gets experience about every five years...

This is what I got yesterday a little East of Steve J. and Kansas City in Holden, MO.
Shelby didn't know what to do w/ that much snow!

A snow plow around here is usually a front end loader or motor grader. They didn't knock all the reflectors off the highway this year since they just skimmed some of the snow off the top of the ice.

Hey Steve,

The plow driver that SJ and I saw was driving as if he had just been called out of the local bar. While I admit I made a California turn into the hotel parking lot, I got away with it by carrying excess speed. The plow driver had neither of those excuses. Are you going to get rid of that white stuff for the seminar?

Gary

Photo198.jpgPhoto182.jpgPhoto188.jpgwell no skis for the plane but we did take the snowboards with us to the top when checking the road conditions. the yardstick was yesterday afternoon and it still came down for a few more hours. the lawn chairs were protected by the house. cant imagine how deep some of the drifts might be. Steve there is 750ft house to road if you think you could get it shut down. this is grandlake 10 min north east of ok18

Gary, Yea but you have a lot of experience driving stuff too Gary. People around here think if it slips, floor it and it will dig in and go. 60 degrees this weekend and we are gonna put a hold on that weather. Are you gonna make it?

What did you do,, listen to my radio conversation with RVS..... They wouldnt let me leave tracks down 1R,,, said it was closed..... along with 31.... So I laid tracks on all the other airports around here...:p

Wirsig,

Now that is one way to teach a little kid how to love the snow...... Just open the door, and chuck/throw him out there in it! Haha. At least you helped him with his put on his mittens first! As a kid myself, I loved LOVED the snow. Your picture really cracks me up!
