Question The most common question - how do i stop getting emails when threads are replied to?

If you don't like being alerted by email when a thread is replied to, you have several options:

First, in the upper right hand corner of the forums when you are logged in you will see a "settings" link. This should by default show you a list of the threads you are subscribed to. If it does not, click the "Subscriptions" link on the left side of the screen under the private message options. You can "unsubscribe" from threads as you choose.

If you DO NOT want to EVER subscribe to threads you post on or start by default, while in the same Settings area click the "General Settings" link on the left. In about the middle, you will see a drop down option for subscribing. You can still subscribe to threads that you post on and start without getting an email, or get an email once a day or week, etc.

    I hope that helps!

You also have to DELETE all the subscriptions were so craftily created for you, which is any thread that you posted in before you do the above...

This is really not a change from the last system, but the setting to not auto subscribe did not carry over from the old system.
