PA 18-135 fuel lines

I am trying to put a PA 18-135 back together that was in pieces.
Can anyone tell me how the fuel lines hook up to the left tank.
I can find a drawing of the right tank, but not the left.

Thanks,

John

some of the earlier cubs had a t at the fuel guage on the left that hooked to the line going to the top of the front header tank. The left tank on the earlier ones didnt have a lower front nipple.

So if your left tank doesn't have a lower front nipple, you need to use a tee at the bottom ( I think) of the fuel guage.

this would be the same nipple that piper used one the right top.

If you have a nipple on the lower front of the left tank, this goes to the top of the front header tank.

the main line from the rear of the tank goes down the front of the D window (behind the post) and forward to the top of the fuel selector.

A picture ( that I don't have ) would be worth a thousand words

That helps a lot. The left tank has a forward fitting in the bottom of the tank. The right guage had the T in the bottom, which is not what the parts book shows. That is why I questioned the left tank installation.

Thanks,

John
