**HOT** Need source for big tailwheel tube

    Hi folks,

We need to find a source for a tailwheel tube off of a T-50 Bobcat. Desser hasn't made them for years, and Dusters & Sprayers was a bust as well.

Its a 12.50-SC (Smooth Contour) tube.

We're running it on the New Standard that brother Nate just finished, current tire/tube is loosing pressure and we need to find a replacement ASAP. Hoping to hop rides tomorrow if we can get something overnight. Otherwise as quick as possible as this is a working plane, we need to get it on the road as soon as possible.

how about squirting some "Great Stuff" in there? It's light and airy and won't leak out?

Get me the actual size of the tube (i.e. layed flat with inside and outside dimension) and the valve stem shape (Straight or 90) and I'll see if I can match it to the several tubes that we have available for around 5 to 6 bucks.

Grant, I haven't pulled it apart yet to get the actual ID/OD, but I'm pretty sure it's a 12.50x4.5 with a 90* valve stem if that helps.

When I pull it apart, I'll get you the actual size. Thanks.

I just looked in the obvious spots... no joy.

It could be in super secret, double secret, wife will not find it storage

which translates to I will find it next year

Will do another look in the hanger today. It has been around for years, so may be already given...
