    shoulder harness

anybody have pics of hooker harness installed in a PA18? Is there any way to keep it from digging into your neck. It seems that since I am taller (closer to the attach point) my neck is always pinched between the 2 straps.

There is an artificial fleece "wrap" for seat belts in automobiles to reduce chafe. You can get them in Walmart automotive section. . Buy two . They have velcro for attachment /securing. I put them on my Hooker harness front and rear seat. Works great. You can get them in several colors as well.

I have the same problem, I flew for 2 hours today and my neck is rubbed raw. I will give the auto seat belt covers a try.

We modified the shoulder harness so that the Vee is way back where the thing bolts to the airframe. Allan Silver, of Silver Parachute, makes beautiful pads with fleece, and can match the Hooker color scheme.

Now how do you guys do the crotch strap in the Cub?
