Has anyone tried putting the Mackey leading edge on a stock super cub wing?

It will work fine, you just have to stop the slat where the bow starts.

Hi Wayne, Have you ever tried it? I would like to try it but I would like to know if anyone could give me some data or info. I am hearing great things about it, but my wings are stock.
Thanks Ron

The closest I have come ,is flying with the outer 4 feet removed. The only
differences was it didn't perform quite as well. Wayne

Wayne, Is there any plans to make this a legal mod on a certified airplane.

Wayne, how much lead time do you need for the slat kit? Hoping to have my A-model rebuild done by march and have been saving for this mod. I would like to put this on my extended droop aileron wings. I assume a custom slat is made for extended wings? Thanks.

The slat are and will remain experimental. They can be made to any
length needed. Wayne

No I haven't, Some of the 156 Storch were done that way, but only for a
short time and then they ran them into the cabin for the duration. The
only advantage on mine would be easyer to fuel. the slats are lightly built
and you can bend them if not careful. I just hang the fuel hose over my
shoulder and there is no problem. Wayne
