I have posted quite a few picture of my dogs in my Super Cub playing on the river but this one is a little different. Cathy has not been flying lately but she and 2 other gals TXpacer's (Tony) wife Chri in her L21 Super Cub and another gal in a PA12 have been planning on attending the Ladies Love Tail Draggers Fly-In this weekend so Cathy has been getting up to speed in my Super Cub. While watching her do touch and goes from my truck with the hand held her dog, Paco, realized she was flying and was watching very attentively. As she taxied back he jumped out of the truck and ran to greet her.
While rebuilding my Husky I needed the Husky sticker for the tail. So I called Husky and found they wanted way too much money for me to advertise for them, so I bought a 2’ DIA. sticker of my English Shepard for $22.00 ea
I got these out of order but here is Prince Shadow, the bestest of boys. He’s about 13 now, and a Puerto Rican native who’s been transplanted to Minnesota. He’s grown to love the snow and heated mattress pads.
He’s been through cancer at age 9/10 and is in excellent health and spirits. He has taxied in the Cub but has less interest in jumping in at this point.
According to a doggie DNA test, he is 31% Belgian Malinois, 30% golden retriever, 20% lab, 19% German Shepherd, and 100% handsome.
1.) A well-practiced judgmental look
2.) Ready for his lunch break at work
3.) Picking him up at the MSP airport baggage claim, August 2012
I feel like something is missing when ours are not with us in the backcountry.
Here's Holly, spotting bogies. Never had a dog do this before. Head's on a swivel and she sees it all.
Good bear dog, too, at 80 lbs.
