    Hi Folks, New Guy

    Hi All,
Discovered your site a few months back and enjoy it muchly so thought I'd better jump on board!
Fun and informative and great for those of us who enjoy lifes adventures, especially flying.
I live in southern BC, the Okanagan, and am fortunate to have a Super Stinson on floats at my doorstep. Ya, I know, but I owned a PA-12 for years.
I've flown BC but intent to explore Alaska this summer but by truck and trailer. I'll be flying there a.s.a.p. but on wheels. It would seem to be more convenient to explore on wheels rather than floats. What d'ya all think?

    Congrat's on choosing BC!!

Join the BC Floatplane Ass'n... AGM's are @ Nimpo Lake every July, we always have interesting guest speakers, lots of food & drink, some sort of fly-outs, and plenty of airplanes & pilots to get to know. Live music dance too. Book accommodation early or bring a tent.

    See ya someday...

    Thanx for the Welcome,

Cloudy, have enjoyed your input and will order your book, thanx.

We all belong to some kind of nut house, this one is just particularly squirlly and a lot of fun.

I'm at White Lake, just north of Salmon Arm, BC in the northern Okanangan. The lakes about 3mi. long so no problem even for a super cub and I'm the only (so far) floatplane near the north/west end.
I'd love for anyone to drop in and I'll make room.
Good place to stop after customs in Penticton if coming that way.
