SULPHUR SPRINGS, TEXAS, SEPTEMBER 18, 2006 – American Legend Aircraft Company announced today the date for a homecoming celebration for Legend Cub owners and pilots. The event will be held from 1:00 PM on Friday through 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 20–21, 2006. The event marks precisely 15 months since American Legend Aircraft Company received light-sport aircraft certification for its Legend Cub (on July 21, 2005). More than 100 American Legend customers and prospective owners are expected to meet at the company’s headquarters to celebrate the Legend Cub.

What to expect at the first Legend Cub homecoming… Lot’s of great memories, both new and recounted. Demonstration and training flights. Aircraft inspections and the availability of optional equipment. Factory tours and airport camaraderie. The event schedule is still evolving. However, all participants will be able to share in all activities. All current American Legend customers and prospective Legend Cub owners are invited. Interested parties should contact American Legend Aircraft Company at 903-885-7000. The focus of the homecoming celebration will be the joy of flying the Legend Cub.

Tim Elliott, President of American Legend Aircraft Company, commented on the planned homecoming, “This is a customer event. We feel we owe our success to our customers and want to take this opportunity to share among them the significant progress that we have made. We want our customers to be able to meet and greet each other, and our company employees. This opportunity will be filled with memorable stories, new aspirations and the same kind of nostalgia that has made the Cub so famous and familiar.” Elliott added, “We are also encouraging prospective customers to attend the homecoming, allowing them the opportunity to speak to current owners about their experience with the Legend Cub.”
