PK 1800 Rudders

Need to make or purchase a set of rudders for a set of PK 1800's. Anyone aware of a set kicking around or know where plans can be purchased? These are going on a homebuilt cub so was wandering how difficult it would be to adapt rudders from another model of float if nothing else comes up. Regards.

Raven,

I'd contact Alton Bouchard. He owns PeeKay now, and has been VERY helpful to me on some issues in support of floats that he never built.

I'd bet he'd be happy to help you. He's a good guy.

The blades are easy to make, of course. The more difficult part would be manufacturing the attach brackets. I'm sure Alton can help with this.

Unless you can find a used set, of course.

Alton monitors the Seaplane Pilot Association forum, and his company will be listed on SPA's website, as well. www.seaplanes.org If you don't find contact information there, do a google search. I'd be Alton will get you what you need.
