Carb or fuel injection?

I have a customer who wants to put fuel injection on his Smith kit. Any thoughts on this? I don't like the idea as they tend to be hard to start when hot and you don't need that on floats. What do you think for a 0360?

A guy here installed a ellison throttle body on his experimental 0360 powered non electric Artic Tern. Starts right up by hand proping hot or cold. Hard part of the install is the throttle cable has be rerouted to the front of the throttle body and the air intake has to be shaped like what is used on the RVs.

Nah........

I wouldn't do it. With so many variables on a EXP, I would keep it simple. The only real advantage to fuel injection is the lack of carburetor ice during IFR or in very poor flying conditions. There is also the cost factor as well. Carburetors do a good job, and on a Cub type, thats for me.

Guys, this just my 2 bits worth, and I am not trying to start a R&R topic.
