2Husky pilots were flying along on a cross country and the weather started to get pretty lousy, The pilots decided that their best option was to find a nearby airport and land…After about 10 minutes they found a little airport adjacent to town and the pilot lined up on final. They were coming down on short final and the co-pilot was getting worried
about how short the strip was, the pilot said its gotta be a one to two hundred feet so they kept going in as the weather was getting even worse. The pilot sets up to do a short field landing and nails the threshold of the runway and comes to a screeching stop at the end The pilot comments once stopped “oh boy was that close” and the co-pilot agreed “yeah I know it is really short but heck its gotta be at least a mile or two wide"
