Thanks to all of you who have provided your opinions and great advice on the rebuild of N4451M. After 29 weeks of being grounded due to the big windstorm we flew for the first time this morning. She flies great!

Still slow as a turtle with the borer prop, but the big barn door flaps are definitely a change. It's going to take some pilot training to make full use of them, but on first attempts at 2000', with full power and slightly over 1800 pounds, I can get the airspeed indicator below the 20 mph line and the GPS was reading well below 30 mph, of course that wouldn't be a useable approach angle but it was fun!
