How old is everyone?

Pushing 61, have a PA12, partners in a 182, also have four motorcycles and a boat. Retired and enjoying every bit of it. Airplanes are my real passion, been flying since '63.

37 years young. Purchased a '53 SC 135 ten years ago. Took my training & check ride in my own bird. Only way to go if you're committed to flying, & know what kind of bird you want. '14A is on skis all winter, 26" goodyears in spring & fall, & EDO 2000's all summer. She was recently totally rebuilt from the ground up & fitted with a 150 hp up front. Looking forward to the next ten years of pure fun !

I just turned 45 and have a 1977 cub I have owned for 8+ years. learned in pa 28's pumped gas at hillisboro in the 70's checked out in cubs nd citabria right after gettin ticket. bought maule M-5 and flew lots before family and buisness came along. Now I am trying to make more time to fly.
Have some pitts time, great lakes, scout, champ, maule. and Super cub.

Wow, I'm impressed, most women won't admit their age, I'd have guessed you were mid 30's. My age depends on how much Scotch and Diet Coke Red Baron brings along. I have a 14 and 11 year old boy, my wife has a hard time telling use apart when were playing. Asks if I'll ever grow up. I am my Cub's mechanic. Just bought another dirt bike after a 20 year hiatus from motocross, after 20 years the ground isn't any softer when you hit it. Started flying in the back seat of Dad's J-3 in 1961. Have the same 1977 PA-18 for 12 years and a PA-14 finished rebuild last year. Still learnig how to fly. Am 46 years old, born and raised in Alaska but well traveled. Crash

That 14 year old is now 33 and learning to fly in the back seat of my own J3 cub. Wish Dad was still around to fly with his boys.

71 flying a 1976 185f since 1981 now have over 10000 hrs in Cubs and Skywagon’s plane now 1977k 180 had since 1997 and a 180 hp cub lots of mods since 1999 my son and I rebuilt to new has 3000 hrs since.been retired since 2005 know busier then ever rebuilding Cubs. Just finished one last winter pa-14 winter before 2 super Cubs complete rebuilds winter before pa-12 all new 180 hp lots of mods. Have another cub to do and fabric a 12.all are fabric work is in oratec.last cub we built javeron wings 24 gal tanks pstol flaps landing lights both wings Dakota tip fabric wing 2 days no flaps or ailerons wt 107 lbs ready to put on

Was honored to be the oldest at NH last year (85) and going strong. In fact just traded in my BMW F700GS for a new Bonneville T120 Triumph to get myself to the airport. Can't remember when I got my PP Lic but was well into my 60's.

Not the oldest at 78, but so old I was born in the Pioneer's Home in Sitka, Alaska. Not many started out there, have my room reserved!
Still flying my Husky and Supercub. Doing a Cessna 175 project for when too old to get in and out of cubs/husky's. that is not soon I hope.

At age 52, I still use a paper log book. I bet I haven't missed logging more than a flight or two in 35 years (and I log all of my landings). I had multiple "rolling over the odometer" moments in my last two logbook page. I passed 4,000 hours tt, 2,000 hours turbine time, and 1,000 hours tailwheel time all within two pages. The vast majority of my time is single engine fixed gear (the turbine time is all in a Caravan.) Keeping it simple has worked so far. I still dream of making a perfect mistake free flight. Maybe someday.....

I will be 75 in July. Soled in an 85 hp J-3 in 1965. Purchased 7-ac at 19. Still fly a champ and 90 hp J-3. Doing a very slow rebuild on my PA-12. I wish i lived closer to some of the experts on this forum.

We soloed on the same runway, I did it in a Cessna 175, my Dad was manager of Anchorage International then, I had been flying with lots of people over the years, Dad always stuffing me in an airplane with someone, this time he wanted to go for a ride, on landing he told me to pull over, got out and said, you are on your own! Same runway landed to the south, but think in 1960-61.
