Can someone post pics of these channels please? My window is bolted in but it looks like the channel might be there.

I have a flip up window, yes it's all or nothing but I also have swivel vents in both windows got just a bit of fresh air. Best thing I did was make the piano hinge extra long, to falicitate total removal of it. I have an underwing latch for it but if I open my left door with the flip up window latched to the wing bottom, it puts everything in a bind. Removing it solves the issue, as I can't seem to remember to close the window before opening the door! RANS S-7 FWIW.

How was the original attached? Bonded, glued, bolted?
