Have to fly the 172 for work tomorrow. Champs on skis still. Field is a friggen mess. Probably enough snow for skis. Too much for wheels

thru the good graces of Allegiant Airlines I am back in the snow last week. I have to put on clean pants and real shoes this week and head to Dallas to get one foot ahead of the other at Frito Lay headquarters or no plane gas for next year. Left a perfectly good carbon cub in FL. Guess I will have to go back for it

Was having a go up the lake in a Star Wars speeder today in a pack of four bound for Chesuncook Village when a son of a Spud Farmer went in front of us and then blew up the lake at 15 feet. Perfect day.

Stewartbs idea of using a space blanket for engine cover works great. 20f parked for an hour and a half only lost 10 degrees.

Awesome time.
We got everything plugged in and a fire going in the cabin we walked the half mile to the end of the lake and Dave's wife and friends picked us up and drove us to the Glenmoore In and we had a great time. Then back to the lake for the walk in. Half way down the lake the lights were on in another camp so we enjoyed some libations while sitting in front of their fire with our new friends. Then out into the snow we went.
We flew over to the Stillwater Inn for breakfast today.
Great day with a great group of friends. Thanks Dave and Patsy's for making it happen.
