Not so much today about where I flew (although it was from Helena to Bozeman and then around the foothills of the Bridgers), but today its about who I flew. I picked up my 83 year old former pilot father and with the minor help of a step gave him his first ride in the 'newly' refurbished 12. Can't beat that I say.

Been flying with Kyler Winn every morning before it gets hot. No where in particular but he is a pretty good stick. Kyler is Bushwheel Bill and Dianna Duncan's grandson working here for the summer.

That's really cool. Brought back memories of chatting with your dad at the airport back in the 70s-80s. He pretty much looks the same.

Been flying one of these the past few days Low and SLOW!!

Best part, it breaks down and fits in the Supercub and these wings fly best early and late in the day so traveling in the cub is a bonus with the visuals

Everyone should have one!

Took Jennifer and the pup in the 185 up to an outpost cabin in Ontario for her birthday last week. Great trip.

Clearing Canadian customs at Sand Point:

Spent the past few days in the North Wrangells. Didn't get to make a few of the stops I had hoped for, as the wind knocked me around pretty good. Sure was nice to see some new country, though!

I think they are already on to me. A few weeks ago had a blackhawk come right down the road with a b1 flying top cover. They'll never catch the elusive cub! Blackhawk is between trees and b1 up high. Not a good pic but it was as fast as i could get out of the shop and snap pic.
