I got to fly a ZERO TIME HOBBS METER :) for the first time, and zero time 31" heavy tread bushwheels!

New to us Super Cub flies great, many thanks to Steve Pierce for helping us get this online! We will be doing lots of training in this one.

I just got back from a trip to northern New Mexico, Utah, and western Colorado. The weather was nice but it did get smokey occasionally from the fires out west. We camped at Murrow Field, Mexican Mountain, and Marble with a side trip to Hidden Splendor.

AKT

I am incredibly jealous this video is what literally started my journey in General Aviation.

You all are living the dream!

last flight of the season

Beautiful day for the last flight of the season, -10c and sunny after 2 weeks of typical rain/snow fall weather. Went Norman Wells to Fort good hope to have a coffee with a friend (she owns the 172 and her dad owns the 185 in the pic). After that we sand bar hopped down the Mackenzie river back to Norman Wells.

Kinda looks like a Helio, not a 185. Dang nice plane either way.

I don't have a cub but have to make-do in this thing for the time being. Still good for sightseeing, just can't land the places I'd like. Had to use some music for the sped up parts.
