I really wanted to build that exact plane, and talked to Dakota cub 6 or 7 years ago They wouldn't give me any info on there kit. So I went with the Javron really glad I did I dont think you can find a better kit than Javron for a PA 18 replica
I used one on my Javron. Had to modify it for the mixture cable.
and used something like this for the cable

Plan to be at Homebuilt Camping arriving on Sunday but plans do tend to change
Dan Gervae I'll be going through the UP Sunday Morning and stopping for fuel somewhere. If your plans change maybe we can meet up
Is Home Built Camping a park in the next spot like the North 40 or is there some...
Thanks Bob
I can't wait to get you in it for a ride and maybe some more tips on flying this thing
I managed to get 5 hours in over the weekend so up to 10 now 1/4 of the way to my 40
What a great Kit Jay has put together, and I must have done something right because this thing flies I think Perfect
Just looking for a Sanity check
Doing my W&B There is no way I can load this thing up to 2300# without going out of CG aft real Quick
I'm using 60" forward of LE for Datum 62.5" * 1061 for main weight and 260" * 66 for tail weight and get a CG of 74
CG Range 71 to 81
