Respectfully, please dont go to the shows and promote/sell more parts you cant supply! You can already see that people need your offerings. Advertising with your labor outside of production only puts you farther behind for products you can sell without advertising.
We learned a long time ago...
Here is another option that works REALLY well. They also make a tablet mount that is extremely strong.

This was my 36th trip to the show.
Didn't have to work. Just a family trip.

We built a PVC tube that clamps to the jury strut and has a removable top cap and a release latch on a hinged bottom.
You fill the tube with the ashes and clamp it in place. Run a string from the release latch to the rear seat if you have a loved-one who wished to assist. (At minimum a...
I just received my prop and have it installed. I have minimal testing as of yet. Managed two take-offs before wx forced me back to the hangar so I have little to offer as of yet.
Here's what I can tell you so far:
McCauley Pawnee prop (P235AFA8442) 35.05lbs removed.

Ken is right on all counts. And the 290 is NOT the answer. If the manufacturer is no longer supporting the engine...you don't want it. And if your asking this question, you should reconsider.
Overhauling these engines is not rocket science. That said, experience plays a HUGE part in...
Pistons and combustion chambers look normal. If they sit for a while, the carbon and combustion byproducts become crystalline and look ugly but largely do not affect operation.
The lifters are corroded. Looks like they were rotating which is good. The cam lobe is probably as bad.
Sitting...
We have been using these starters on our engines for many many years with very few issues. Thousands of sky-tecs on Lycoming engines.
Things are certainly not as good as the days before hartzell bought them as far as pricing and service goes. But quality has not been a factor.
And heads up...
I ordered one yesterday.

This was the 1st approval using the Part 23 Regulations and it was challenging for both the Feds and Sensenich. They expect the...
A few things to consider as well...
The early cranks have sludge tubes and are not always interchangeable. I would avoid sludge tube cranks.
Changing the rotating mass of a 320 engine with a fixed pitch prop will never be noticed in the cockpit...you will never see a difference. Flying Reno...
This is all true. Lycoming cranks bend, Continentals crack and it doesn't matter how fast they were tuning! I've seen them break with improperly installed propellers as well as bumps with a tug/tractor.
AND...
Many people don't know that the magnetos take a hit as well. Both Magneto...
