    I pull the wings off my 12 every year to store in my pole barn. It takes All of a day and you will need a couple good friends at the time of wing removal. It is worth it to me as I save about 2K for winter storage on my float plane and it's a good time for inspection. Hope this helps. BTW I...

    Here I am flying my nice pa-12 along on a very windy day and I hear this VERY loud pop. The plane kept flying fine so flew it back to my place on the lake.     I put it on 3 years ago at rebuild of my pa-12 floatplane and it has worked great. My prop looks like new. I agree to keep the stick back as mike said.
