My 0-360 takes the 48108-1 but i took my filter housing to the auto parts and started trying filters. The K&N HP2004 is almost the exact size and also has the internal bypass and fits perfect. My plane is experimental and i will never install overpriced certified parts on it.

My Super Cub had the Madres tips on it when i got it with 32' of wingspan and they are staying on. This thing flys great and lands in crosswinds great. I could'nt ask for it to perform any better. Its fast for a cub, climbs good and wants to start flying around 34 mph and slow flys really well...

I bought some of those from Matco and got a email that everything was in stock and once assembled and tested it would be 7-15 days before they would ship out. On the 17th day i called and cancelled.

I might hollar at you later about them, but i bought some new disc and semi metalic pads and going to see how they work.

What is the best stopping, salvage yard Brake Calipers that i could put on a Exp. Super Cub with 31" tires, 6" wheels, 11/2" axels part #'s please. Thanks in advance.

This one is a C1A not an A1A. The data plate shows 205hp @ 2900 with Fuel Injection, but this one has been converted to a carburetor.

Thanks for the reply. I haven't picked it up yet. Had to get it annualed first and the a&p said it had that shower of sparks box on it. The Carb is a Marvel MF V A1P

Yes Bearhawk Builder that's the one. I just had a annual done on it and going to pick it up next week or week after. Was curious what mods were done and what HP it wound up being since i'm not able to talk to Mr Henderson.

The owner died and i haven't picked it up yet. I don't know anything about that combination.

I just bought a experimental Super Cub with a HIO-360-C1A helicopter engine. Its been modified for fixed wing and flown 834 hrs since. The man had died and the lady knew nothing about the engine. I just bought a PA-11 c-90 and don't have much tailwheel experience. I am fixing to start tailwheel training on a grass strip. Which tires handle better on landing, the stock ones or the 26" Airstreaks with the baby bushwheel tail wheel? Should I wait till after my tailwheel training to change...
