JP i got a whole day of ski flying in 2 weeks ago.

75-35 on an 0-200 will outperform a 90 with a 76 ak40-2 but the 90 with 75-35 outperforms everything just not approved.

Look up the TCDS on the FAA website.It will tell you what props are legal.I would guess the seaplane prop which is probably 80 inch.

I too understand being a little short at times. SJ please take half of what I donate and put it towards helping others.

I had a similar experience leaving Greenville years ago.Had a friend flying Finair from Helsinki to JFK and talked to him on Unicom.I have to get some wheel skis for next year.We have had bare ground for most of the winter.

I found it interesting that the FAA exempted the flying car from LSA std wheel gross wt of 1320.They gave that 1430.Kinda like who you know I guess. I always wanted to know what the rationale was for the two different weights.If the higher weight was ok on floats then why not wheels.Just my...

Lots of piston ring manufacturers out there.You can get rings for just about anything.Race car people buy them in bulk for short money.Just do a search and you will be amazed.Aircraft manufacturers get them from someone.

No but have had customers who did on a freshly overhauled transmission.Welded up a few cases and replaceed broken pump gears when they thought pulling it on the last inch was how to do it.Way worse when they manage to get it on then start it up!
