    1340 lifting eye

Ask a HAM/STAN (Hamilton Standard Prop overhaul shop), maybe they got a propnut unairworthy that you can buy cheap to weld on to. Younkin aviation is another engine shop to consider, their very good.

    Digital Timing Device

Not true, with the IHandy Level, you calibrate it with it mounted to the prop in any attitude as long as the engine is at TDC, just like any smart levels. No difference if you bump the plane, the level is electronic and remembers itself.

    Mag-Rite Timing Indicator-Cool New Tool

Exactly! You can get several different readings from just flicking the counterweight on that dunce cap. What's the trick with that sucker?

    Mag-Rite Timing Indicator-Cool New Tool

Looks like a digital Degree level put into to modified bowl. I'm sure it can be home built for cheaper. I'll stick with my overpriced Time-Rite indicator.

    Time Rite G-18 (big one)

I have the big time rite model g-18, I'm looking for the arm and degree card for a P&W 1340 and manual just for s&g' s. Anyone know where to find them? Mine by the way has the arm and card for the P&W 4360. Pretty neat. The current model of the smaller model B uses the same arm between the...

    Flying Wild Alaska Season 2

Not 100% scripted, that's how business deals work when greed, and stupidity are involved. They forgot to pay one months lease payment, in which opened a loophole for the vultures to strike. No matter how nice a person is today, someone will take advantage of the situation. Therefore I trust no...

    PA-18-95 as and LSA

That's the most ridiculous thing I've read in a while, first off on a j-3 you fly from the rear seat, lots of room back there, second of all, the front seat of a SC ain't much bigger than the J-3, third, I used to fly a PA-18/95 with NO flaps and still landed shorter than the 150 and 180 SC's...

    Pulling the prop through

Sorry guys but this is getting about as anal as checking the brake fluid level in the master cylinders even thought the brakes workEd last night, as checking the torque on the prop making sure the prop safety wire has not broke and the prop might come off, as checking the tire pressure is within...

After working the touch screen of a smart phone and an iPad, the touch screen of the garmin is "behind times" I'd rather use the buttons and knobs of the other model garmins.
