    Port and polish

Why would it be a major per the far’s if they don’t claim it’s increased power but a power balance for the pulses? Removing casting flash and minor cleanup that doesn’t affect strength or structural integrity could and is considered a minor change.

Plan to build a bungee installation tool ?

I know this is an old post but, I was going through some tools I inherited and saw this video Cub Bungees - YouTube and low and behold there it was. I had no idea what it was, I had initially thought it was a jack adapter. Now that I know what it is, I am now able to change cub bungee cords...

    Airless for polyfiber?

I finally bought an airless sprayer, I think I will look at the different tip options to make it equal to the 1.4-1.8 MM tip that polyfiber uses for the HVLP gun I have.

LED Lights- Finding the Plug and Play for Cub

One thing to consider is that LED nav lights really are affected by UV after a few years, the light sports at the flight school get bad sun fade in the plastic after 2-3 years. I would rather just change the bulb in the whelan housing and stick with the glass cover. YMMV. Tim

Want to identify steering spring clips

I bought the oval clips at stoddards 10 years ago, the teardrop ones from univair last week. I would like to buy some more of the oval ones but can’t seem to identify who made them. They are much heavier duty than the current ones. Thanks Tim

tools, jigs, fixtures, and other neat stuff

Depend on if it’s primary structural aluminum or steel, aluminum was not allowed by the faa for Boeing as a way to cut primary because of haz and potential for cracks. Steel is allowed for some structural parts that are welded. Trumpf is made in Germany and can cut 1200 inches per minute in .5”...

    Super Cub 90HP to 100HP

Are there any sodium filled exhaust valves for small continentals? ECI used to have a rotator in their 200/300 cylinders, no longer available but I am curious about finding any improvements for the small continentals. Tim

I just slide it in, the phillips bottle will not let it spill, I used to just screw in the 15W50 bottle but there was always a chance to spill if not careful, now its not an issue.

Yes, I had a can and it would evaporate before I would get 2-3 seals done or the lid would get stuck. tubes are cleaner and I can stock 5-6 and always have fresh glue on the shelf.
