There is approximately 50 PA-18 registered in NZ, with about 40 of them being Super Cubs, the majority being PA-18A.
There are few of the owners including myself on this site.

This shouldn't be too much of an obstacle.
You should be able to get a maintenance task approval to do it after having some training signed off by your maintenance provider, especially a Part 145 shop, then you should be able to fit and remove the stick, then as far as the duplicate goes...
I used it last year for 160hp Dynafocal mounted E3D into my PA18-135, just looked at the ICA and AML, includes the O-320 D2A and PA18A-135, from memory you pay for it on line and they email the STC through

I had a suction and pressure filter full of metal last year in my 150hp E3D, Sent the engine to the overhaul shop, overhauled it and STC (Lycon) 150 to 160hp, already had an old FAA 337 for the engine fit along with Wag Aero STC SA388EA, 337 was for the Dynafocal mount. (this was done in 1988)...
