    You can work the tape around a corner with heat, if you have a little patience. I always put tape around windows or anywhere else that the fabric is touching a solid structure.

    According to the STC, you have to protect any sharp edge with chafe tape....problem solved. I've rib stitched plenty of stamped ribs and never had a problem once the edge was protected by tape.

    The carburetor float level should be set for the specific gravity of the auto gas, as it's different than the specific gravity of av gas. The carburetor manual will tell you the specifics.

    Had a Stinson that a guy put all the non-trip free circuit breakers in, plus both trim actuators swapped, so they operated backwards. Got the same thing from the feds. I'm sure he's done a few more...
