I am going through install right now with the TT22 and TN70 as well on the Super Cub... Seems to be a great little unit...
That would make things a ton easier! I elected to go with a factory overhaul on the engine after the prop strike so my budget for the rebuild is lacking and trying to save a buck where I can!
Can I use an ABI wheel with a Cleveland brake... Plane is certified so my guess in no...
Can I use these wheels with the cleveland brakes (30-60A). I was under the impression that I had to have the entire kit...
Need a pair of Cleveland 40-60 wheels to replace the ones that were messed up after the ground loop on the PA-12.... Torque plates needed as well. Let me know if you have a lead on a set...

I think that is exactly what is going on here... Interesting....

Gonna try with air filter removed... Haven't done that yet.. Ive been going through ADSB install (nightmare...) so haven't had any time to mess with it. Have only flown it 2 hours so not very...
Still working my way around my new to me PA-18A... Has anyone seen a domed air filter set up like this? Hard to see in the picture, but the tube going from the back of the filter to the intake...
I would love to do some type of camo scheme on a Cub. I saw a picture of a Cub (think it may have been a Carbon or Cub) once and the camo was more straight lines than curved patters and it was in...
Nope. it was marked for a 12 and measured 25 7/8 between the bolts...
A friend mentioned that a PA-18 cabane for a 4 inch wider fuselage might fit. I'm just going to go with the one Atlee is making me at 27 11/16. will post pics once I get it....
Yes, I did speak with him. He said that the standard width is 25 7/8 per the SA669AL drawing. I pulled out the drawing (pictured above) and yes, the drawing states 25 7/8 but the tape measure...
Atlee has been super helpful so far. My custom vee is currently under construction.
Yes, he has been very helpful. Our tail numbers are fairly close as well...
On another note... if you run 3 in extended gear do you need a modified cabane?
Repairing the 12 after the ground loop... My 12 has the 18 gear STC SA669AL (Crosswinds). Ordered a cabane from FA Dodge and when to check fit and it was too short. Turns out the distance between...
Is anyone doing Oratex "commercially"... As in, If I needed my wings rebuilt and recovered, are folks out there using Oratex?
Looking for a replacement Borer prop for my PA12. Had an 8241 before the wreck... STC goes up to an 8244 so if you have something let me know!!! Thanks.
