I'm dealing with Summit now for a Bearhawk project and modifying their attach bracket. Different animal but they would likely be inclined to help with whatever I would need to pursue a FA for my...
I'm in, where do we start. I've never gone through the process.
I assume the engineering needs to be looked at, is it a matter of getting drawings from Summit? Will prior field approvals be...
Tom we need you as a DAR
So that's 1 1/4 axle? That's what I'm trying to find out.
Can you give me the kit number. Are they really 1 3/4" axles? I don't see that size listed for the Grove 6 inch wheels.
Did you get the right kit from Van's? They have one for both parallel and angle valved engines. Assuming you did, your options are to drill the case where needed or fab mounting points like you...
Your question made me think if I had to give up one it would no doubt be flying, which sounds crazy to say. But building stuff is so imbedded in me it defines the day. I feel a like a slacker if...

Nice property Glenn, love that Federal style farmhouse! Your place I mean.

I think I have a new Dakota bellcrank at the hangar Let me check
I've noticed this too, emailed them several times and called with no answer.
None of it is hard work but it is unforgiving. Garmin uses specialized CAN Bus wire and all their install info is on line including interconnect drawings. At the avionics shop I work with it’s all...
OK, I'll get you going. I like Stewart Systems because of the low VOC's of the product. The adhesive, fillers, primers are waterbourn. The paint is catalyzed urethane and the carrier is distilled...
This ought to be fun.;-)

I made a holder, or 'handle' out of some 1/4 inch tube I think that I have a neodymium magnet epoxied to the end. Stick the magnet to the spring steel on the back and it's easy to spray both sides.
What’s the data tag say? Seems that’s the one that really counts. Don’t we all think our Cubs are special.
I have one if you want it.
The base color really affects yellow. Yellow over gray looks greenish. Over white it's more true yellow.
