I'd be curious to know what it brings if it does sell. There's a plane locally...
In the current market, I wouldn't be surprised if it brought 70-75k. 5 years ago, 40-50k tops. Somebody would probably pay too much for it judt because it's a flying plane, without much...
This thread makes me glad that i live where i do....
Post them for sale on facebook. Someone will pay half price for a set that is 3/4 wore out.
What is your budget? If money isn't a deciding factor, go with a 160. If you want something that's cheap to buy, and cheap to fly, go with the 11. A light 11 will get in and out of most places a...
Andy, sent you a PM
If you find a good deal in a used syncrowave, don't be afraid to pull the trigger in the deal. That being said, the newer inverter machines are better. I bit the bullet on a Dynasty 200 7 years...
Is a PA-11 on your radar? Little bit eadier to find one if those, and they're pretty similar, aside from the spar attach point.
This is the first i've heard of this engine. Looks interesting, for sure. Anyone here have any experience with them?
My current favorite is a Kel-Tec PMR-30. A semiautomatic .22mag with a capacity of 30 rounds. Pistol, holster, and an extra magazine weighs less than 3lbs. Very accurate, as well. No bear...
Just be careful which one you pull when it's go time!
Maybe if the little derelicts that broke into those planes had been confronted by the business end of that .44, the next guy would think twice before attempting to take what isn't his...
I'm not...
I'm just saying that i've never heard anyone say that they wished that they'd left their firearm at home in the safe instead of carrying it. Whether it's for protection, or to provide food, it's...
Better to have one and not need it, than to need one and not have it.
I wouldn't think any fuselage mods would need to be done, as long as you aren't trying to raise the fross weight. The 105T cubs did have the same 1500# gw as the 125hp models, didn't they?

No time to finish! Fuselage 97% complete, mostly stock. My plan was for a lightweight, simple, no frills cub. O SMOH O-290D, tailfeathers, landing gear, torque tube, lots of parts all included. ...
I have one i might consider parting with. 0 smoh, new cam, new crank, new chrome cylinders, rebuilt carb. Located in NW South Dakota. PM if interested
No one was hurt, that's the main thing. Build the plane back up better than it was already, and learn from the mistakes that were made. Shake it off, nothing happened that can't be fixed!
Buy once, cry once....miller Dynasty 200. Not cheap, but hands down, the most user friendly welder I've ever used.
So I guess what everyone is trying to say is that 'landing in snow with wheels is fine, until it's not....'
Why not contact the salvage company that owns it and ask? Tell them you'd be willing to accept all liability if something goes wrong. All they could say is no, and there's even a (very) slim chance...
Nowadays, i don't think a broker is necessary at all. Unlike 30 years ago, it's very easy and cheap to make your plane visible to the world. A broker won't help much in the sale of your plane, i'm...
Awesome project! Keep posting your progress!
