As we are aware, traditional avgas is on the way out. A suitable replacement doesn't seem to be available any time soon. Rotax motors run on auto fuel, put out a fair amount of power for their size...
Is the tow release the red contraption and is it always attached even during flight?
Never got past buying the rigging. Too much financial change due to the plandemic. Unless something changes soon, there will be some sweet rigging for sale.
Yes, well done. Perfect timing.
Here are some possibilities:
Repair area not cleaned adequately
Back of patch contaminated. Use clean gloves and keep patch on clean work surfaces
Insufficient glue coverage
Insufficient time for...

Two thumbs up, superb and wholesome family entertainment!!!:elefant:
Lots of guys will say the mod will block the airflow between the trailing edge of the wing and the leading edge of the flap. Thus negating some of the flap effectiveness. Readers fire away if you...
I would suspect no wax either. Regardless, if the OTX was installed on an aircraft, I would be sure to contact Lars at Better Aircraft Fabric and let him know sooner than later. If there is the...
Denny is correct. These and other important points are clearly lined out in the "Tips and Tricks" manual supplied with each purchase.
You would not believe the number of folks who disregard the...
^^^Part of the otx maintenence procedure is to apply the supplied wax not less than once per year. It provides additional UV protection, luster and allows squished bugs to be wiped off.

Oratex is indeed an approved process. The individual that was refunded his money probably installed the "backsislde coated" version on his certified plane. The "backside coated" otx has a layer of...
Oratex prefers a warm environment for installation. The glue is water based and CAN NOT FREEZE(capitalized for emphasis, not yelling.) Frozen OTX glue is ruined.
....an addendum, 182 yes. 172, no. 172 in my opinion could be the most boring airplane ever built. I have flown in, flown and watched a guy try to work one. All I thought was get me out of this thing.
Dad just picked up a 206. I have a mission list as long as my arm for that one. Different planes for different roles. A 182 is a great choice and seem to be under valued.
Some O470s have a 1500...
"Death Wobble," I had a skateboard like that.
Not velcro. It's an over/under clip.
Oy Vey.
Auto land, AOA indicators, ADSB.....Let's just replace the pilot with a computer. Better yet, just s&&t can aviation altogether
Excellent point from MauleGuy. Where are the pictures of collapsed gear where the landing was conducted away from the hard surface? Grass/gravel/dirt is very forgiving. Asphalt/concrete is not....
Got it. I have seen the single plate mod spanning the brace wire attach points. I just hadn't seen the more elaborate T shaped plate.
Never heard of it or seen one. What's this all about?
The baby is murder on the airplane in snow. Especially in wet sticky spring conditions. I will be going the 3200/tail ski route this year.
I generally consider a sport an activity in which score is kept and there is no effect on the basics of human existence no matter what the outcome is.
Yes, there is sport fishing, hunting, etc....
