Should work now.
Here is a file of Stromberg carburetor data that I have gathered over the years. I built a few out of a box of parts and had good service. There is some tribal knowledge for sure....
Bob is not accepting carburetors because of Covid so that takes him out of the picture anyway. We have one on a J3 that Bob did his magic on. It never leaked before but does now and runs way to rich....
Univair often has it in stock as well for better shipping rates.
[QUOTE=mike mcs repair;794887]I think Atlee originally just resold Jensen gear under his brand......
Sent from my iPhone using SuperCub.Org mobile app[/QU
Jensen manufactured the gear for Atlee...
My Spot has served me well, tracking etc. In is on auto pay on my credit card. Good insurance some my wife knows were to find me if the stuff hits the fan.
Probably because standard was done to the print and the 3" gear was done a hair differently by each manufacturer. My brother's Super Cub was on Airframes gear with Atle lower shock struts. It sat...
I have never change a cabane vee when installing extended gear. Just the lower shock struts and the gear.
Having seen the difference in shock struts I assume there is a difference in gear legs as well.
$563 for Atlee. Don't mix and match. The two vendors are different. The work is easy it is just talking the time to make another jig. I have jigs for PA16, 20 and J3/PA18 standard length. Probably...
Got there Saturday afternoon, had Dan school me on some stuff on Sunday, loaded a truck full of tools, jigs and fixtures and busted out Monday morning ahead of that weather they got Monday evening....
Starting a 45x45 off the west side of my hangar. Was gonna go just big enough for a Cub but decided to make it longer so I have a spot for my own project that I won't have to move to get out of the...
Will it work?
Jason Gerard taught me that and I just spent last weekend in Cashmere with Dan and Marjie Stewart. Got a lot of history on the fabric system. Was an interesting visit.
77" from the trailing edge of the flap to the tip of the spinner.
Gotcha, I can do that.
Put a damp paper towel over your glue cup and it won't dry out as quick.
Similar.
They are easy to cut and remove after you remove the pushrods.
I guess a year and a month to late is better than never. ;)
The original Piper heel plates have a cut out and broken edge to orient them correctly in relation to the hole in the floor for the brake pedal. I have found no source for the originals. Since others...
Why do you need to measure the length from the trailing edge of the wing to the tip of the spinner?
Yep, and waking you and Alaska Steve up way to early after your late night of fun.
That tool has barely enough ass to bead an aluminum tube much less a head. I have the beading tool for the head if you want to try it. the Real Gasket pushrod tub kit is the cat's ass in my opinion.
