Thanks guys.

If I were to get down to the Jacksonville NC area for this coming weekend 2-4th, anyone know of a decent place to base my cub out of, and get a decent hotel with my daughter?
Trying to visit a...
Got back from Maine yesterday as the sun got a bit lower, and thought I’d visit a couple friends on the other side of the river.

He didn’t know about the wires, or didn’t remember.
He had recently purchased the cub from a well known instructor in Maine, who offered some instruction at the sale but offer was...

Thanks Jim.
I’m coming to stay. I may not leave. ..willingly.
I’ll be up Thursday night. That pizza is excellent. And the ride over and back in the truck bed always brings out some youthful...
Well the weekends almost over so not a big deal. He’s flying back east tonight.

A good friend of mine Carl Wilson is in Page AZ this weekend and while he flew some hawker/falcon/gulfstream thing in, he can’t find a local plane to rent and check out there area.
And his stearman...
The point of the flat screens is to replace the original equipment as primary’s. If you aren’t going to install as primarys I don’t see the value of flight instruments being completely redundant.

That’s correct, the 10” G3 is a hard fit in the early 180’s, whereas the 500TXI should just fit in.

In the middle of a budget upgrade to a 180H for a customer.
He kept his airspeed, T/B, Alt and VSi. Left side has a couple EI units. Dual GI-275s stacked in the center.
Copilot panel...
GI-275’s or G3 with GFC500AP.
G500 fits better but may be able to shoehorn the G3.

No I mean Gene Faher, at Argyle.
I would think either prop I had for the 90 or for the 290 would work for you.
Transmitted from my FlightPhone on fingers… [emoji849]
Sean talk to Gene as he’s a little familiar with both of the ones I had. The 76” on my c90 should be the same for your 235 and it transformed that airplane.
The one on my 290 was the next size up...
I was quite surprised he got away with it like that for a few years.

There are a number of revised gains for the install in the CC, F/EX, /2 and /3. Fine tuning makes a difference.
The servos under the pedestal seem to work well although can get crowded if you...
Big Access panels. GFC500
Although in the 180 we have to drill out the inspection cover backing ring in the wing to fit the bracket through. Not bad though, just squeeze it back in after.

A number of exp builders have added the roll servo under the front seat like Stewart did. Another option is to put it in the wing, depending on wing construction and opening sizes.
Metal wings...
I have no flight time behind an S-TEC but from a technicians point of view they suck pond water, both during the install and troubleshooting after the fact. We just installed one in a Cheyenne since...
I’m biased as I work for a Garmin dealer. But we do a lot of GFC500 installs, and S-TEC as well. The engineering from Garmin is far superior for installs, and as a pilot I will say as Lou mentioned,...
