    FS: J-3/L-4 wood spars

I ordered one extra set of blanks. They're for sale locally in Seattle. $350 for the front spar, $300 for the back. Installation is available.

Picture isn’t coming through for some reason. I am going to order from Spruce as this is a customers airplane. I’ll probably order an extra front and rear spar blank to have on hand.

    Shared freight on spar blanks

I am going to order a wood spar blank for a J-3 from Aircraft Spruce. If anyone wants to share freight to the Seattle area let me know. On a side note is Aircraft Spruce still the best source?

Actually Univair has all the old SB/SL. That’s pretty nice of them! Doesn’t cover what I want though. AC43.13 isn’t much help. I’ll do what I think is right. Not a primary structure anyway.

Thanks for the links! I like the idea of a 6 cylinders since they tend to run smoother. Some of the O540’s produce 260 HP. I would only consider a fixed pitch prop for weight.
