CubCrafters 3X3 gear

A good friend has a Top Cub I've flown quite a bit, both before and after the 3+3 gear. With the O360 and borer prop, the 3" forward is a good idea, as it increases the tail weight and allows for heavier brake application. My airplane has a 320 and a Catto so I went with 3" extended, but no 3" forward. Our tail weights are very close to the same, based on the armstrong scale. Before, the Top Cub had a noticeably lighter tail. It takes a little more push to get the tail up, but with that powertrain you have plenty of thrust available to do it.
