Low points in fuel system???

The Builder of my Avid had installed one (or similar) on the inside of the bottom fabric behind the seats. It has worked fine for VOR NAV, but I've not shot any approaches with it.

They did say they are definitely planning for floats.

That appears to be a Basswood, aka American Linden. They're blooming here now too, very fragrant and whole lots of bees. Glad to hear of the surgery success!
