Ok, Ok I know all the old jokes about a Super Cub speed, but has anyone looked at the difference in speed at 65% cruise power between using 8.50s vs. 31" Bush Wheels?
I changed to high compression pistons only. The cost was about $3,000.00, more or less as I did some other things as well on the work order with the shop.
I recently made the 150 to 160 conversion on my Lyc. O-320 eng. I am looking for fuel flow, RPM, hp. data for this engine. I've got manual that gives 150 information but would like to see what changes to expect with the 160. Any ideas?
I've got a 0-320 160 hp SC equipped with a 74DM6 prop, at least that's what the books says it is. Could some one out there please tell me what I've got, cruise or climb etc. I'd like to get a little more cruise speed and fuel performance for some extended trips. Thanks
