Are Pa 22 ribs the same as PA 18

I'm rebuilding my L18c, single tank, no flaps. For some reason half of the ribs are damaged. No obvious signs of impact, Spar is OK. I've been offered some PA 22 ribs, part number 12046-04. Are they the same as my L18c ribs. Many thanks. P

You blokes are brilliant! Many thanks for the info and that link looks great. The dates have been dictated by a show we are doing in Dallas, I'm tagging on a weeks vacation after the show. I'm concerned about the temperature. Took the Triumph down to Italy last August it was warm down there...

Non Flying question for Texans from a Limey

Many thanks for the suggestions. Looks like I'll have an enjoyable time. It's difficult thinking about it being too hot to ride as I look out at this cold damp morning. At least it's not snowing like yesterday. Have a nice day y'all. Pete

Non Flying question for Texans from a Limey

I'm over in Dallas at an exhibition August. I plan to stay on for a week and hire a Harley and ride down to Austin and San Antonio. Can anyone recommend an interesting route, down there and back again. Possibly any nice airfields to visit. Regards Pete

    First snow in England

I'm lucky enough to live between Old Warden and Duxford. Occasionally get a Spitfire flying over the house. I fly from a farmstrip about 40 miles north of London. Once had a Lancaster fly past just as I took off from the strip. As BCB says very little chance of old war birds being found in a...

Where did YOU hear about SCub.org?

I think it was from the yahoo forum. I was looking for information on a little Japanese motor cycle, the yahoo forum was for airplanes, so I came here. Anyone tried fitting a 82 ci Shovelhead engine into one of those little bikes?

    Guess what I saw yesterday...

Carrying on with Mike's theme, here's what I saw yesterday. Yesterday was the 70th aniversary of the first flight of the Spitfire. So Southampton celibrated with these five flying past. The lead aircraft was a two seater, and in the back seat was 93 year old Alex Henshaw, one of the original...
