Thank you all! Got it started Saturday morning cleaned (as best as possible) silicon spray and it started up. Did notice that the bearing in the front has a lot of play. Think it was binding up the motor. Will be going light weight sky tec asap. Thanks again. Ben

Wal, it never turns over really fast, but it did turn over but did not "sound" right. I would just hand prop it, but the hung up bendix creates too much drag. Will get more time to work on it tomorrow and hope to get her home! Thanks for the feedback and help! Ben

Flew to see my daughter about an hour away today. When I went to start up the bendix (small starter gear that engages the flywheel teeth) extended into the flywheel teeth and failed to retract. The engine would not start and I could not get the benix to disengage starter is prestolite MZ 4204...

Installed bungees today and went to install and on both legs the attachment ends are not aligned. One end the bolt holes are off 90 degrees. Is there a twist to the hydro sorb that I did not set correctly before bungee install? Can I fix with bungees installed or do I have to cut bungees and...

Thank you all! I should have mentioned it is a PA-18. I called univair and they charge $17.50 per bungee x4 and they turn them around quickly. I'll pull them tomorrow! Installed inertia reels tonight! The only problem with sending the bungees out is waiting to finish then annual!
