    Take off tail low and accelerate in ground effect to 65-70mph which is Vy. Am not sure Vx in the flapless 90HP SC (55mph) gives any better gradient....

About L18C-95
Biography:
Started flying in Vancouver BC in 1975 but flew intermittently until 1998 when I converted my PPL to a UK PPL. Upgraded to CPL and flew an Aztec for business for nearly ten years. Became an FI in 2013 and gained an ATP in 2014. Recently added a Single Engine to my ATP. My Super Cub had lain dormant for some years when I spotted it in a hangar corner in Ireland. It was sent to Europe in 1951 as part of an MDAP, and is largely original, although now covered with modern fabric.
