Started both flying and working on planes in 1970 doing weld repairs to the rusty tubes on a PA17 in trade for lessons. Official first solo in '72 with 7hrs in the book. Collage for me was at Embry Riddle. I have road raced motorcycles, raced cars which for the past 25 years I build road race cars for my living. I have spent years restoring planes as well as having built 6 planes with much of my own design work in them. I am currently building a J4 look-alike, a clean sheet design. This is my 7th plane and fully my own design.
