Engine Monitors: UBG vs Insight G1

Looking at installing the Insight G1 or the Ei UBG16 in my PA18-150. Any favorites in the crowd?

Also, will need to use the gasket probes as my CHT ports are being used for the Tanis heating elements. Any problems that folks know about using those?

Dunno about lycoming, but FWIW Continental calls out different CHT redlines for the 470 series engines
when using gasket-type probes vs bayonet probes.
For my 470K, it's 525 for gasket-type vs 460 for bayonets.

Electronics International makes a CHT probe that fits under the Tanis cylinder heating elements. I have no experience with Insight but very good service out of EI and the UBG16. I have a brand new set of those probes if someone wants to swap for the screw in type.
