In 2005 you sent e-mail comments to the Lewis and Clark National Forest on
our proposal to manage motorized vehicle travel in the Little Belt, Castle,
and Crazy Mountains in central Montana. In response to public comments, we
have prepared a “Draft” Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for further
public review and comment.
Effective Tuesday, July 11, 2006, you can find the “Draft” EIS on our
website at: www.fs.fed.us/r1/lewisclark The website describes how you
can again comment electronically, timeframe for comments, and other
information on the project.
