Strobe Lights....

Who sells a good, reliable strobe system for an EXP Cub? I would like to have a 4-lite unit for both wingtips, belly, and tail.

Whelan makes the best, most powerful strobes in the industry. The Comet flash units are really bright. They are not cheap, though.

Look carefully at the discharge output of strobes. there is a lot of difference, and in my opinion, if you are going to install high visibility lighting, it ought to be as high a visibility as possible, within reasonable parameters.

I have Whelen's on my Cub. Wingtip flash alternating with tail flash. Very good and reliable units.

Check a Galls catalog, they sell whelen units for ambalances and cop cars, since its experimental!
