Hi folks --
I am rerigging my PA12 flaps (Day/Night STC) and am wondering what the max deflection is. It is the same set up I have had for years, but now that I look at it, they look like they go down to far.

Anyone out there know how much it should be?
Also how much the first notch is -- I have filed some additional notches, but the first is factory, but it also looks like too much.

I will also look at the paperwork and check some cubs on the field.
thanks
Mark

The Dacota Cub kit we just put in measured about 10-15 on the first notch, and about 40-45 on the second. Don't recall the STC calling out any figures (Kenmore).

Mikey,
I have the extended flaps STC (660AL), if you have the same it should be 0, 10, 25 and 40 degrees.

No mine are the standard PA-18s per Ron Sullivan's STC now that I think about it (not Kemore), think it is pretty much the same as the Marden Airways one from way back.
Thanks
