First, a big thanks to those who have scanned and posted all the old Piper sales literature. They are probably the best soarce of reference for the old paint schemes. And the 57 price list is very interesting. Of most interest is that the standard model PA18-150 came without a electrical system or spinner. They were only available on the deluxe model. This should help answer questions about the legality of having a PA18-150 without these items installed.
Listed for the A model is a optional "quarter ton cargo floor". Does anyone know if this means the full length low floor boards, including under the removeable rear seat bottom, or does it include something else? I have seen A models that did not have a floor board under the rear seat, maybe this was the standard configuration, and adding the extra length board was the factory option?
I am surprised that more standard models have not been modified to the A model removeable rear seat bottom and full length "cargo" floor over the years. It really increases the utility when it's just the pilot hauling around a big load of junk.
